Short story as if a discource never free from ideology included gender ideology. Gender ideolgy turn up in short story can see from perception, stereotype or the relationship rule between men and women which are taled by author in short story. This article will study about gender ideology in short story which is presented in short story antology with a title”Lampor,” it is published by Kompas, 1994. The short story which would be studied in this article is “Rambutnya Juminten” short story was written by Ratna Indraswari Ibrahim. The gender ideology study use the critical discource analysis gender ideology model (CDAGI) wich result study that there “Rambutnya Juminten” short story is gender profile and gender identification, gender role and gender relation, and the kind of gender ideology (patriarchy, familialism, motherism, and publishism) and gender inequality (subordination, marginalization, discrimination, and repression).
