Isi artikelThe goal of the Manitoba School Improvement Program is to improve the learning experiences and outcomes of secondary school students particularly those at risk, by building school's capacities. MSIP helps schools serve their students better through improvement in the conditions for learning in schools, rather than by identifying the student as the problem (Fullan, 1991; Stoll and Fink, 1996). Although many of the projects start small, the intent is to produce long-term systemic change with the potential to benefit students at risk (and other students) by improving the quality of schools as a whole. By working as agents of change, MSIP endeavours to spearhead the movement for widespread school change within individual schools and in the broader community of Manitoba.
