Isi artikel
This issue of The Journal of Medicine and Philosophy is an excellent example of the kinds of scholarship that comprise bioethics. Ranging from theoretical debate over ethical research standards to policy debate over the appropriate distribution of unapproved drugs and the development of genetic technologies, from a historical examination of Descartes’ view of pain to the presentation of Jewish bioethics’ contribution to secular bioethics, the authors’ papers each serve as an example of one of bioethics’ tasks.
