Isi artikel
It is no over twenty years since Peter Singer's "Famine, Affluence and Morality" stimulated philosophical discussion of whether affluence is immoral in a world where there is starvation. However, there has for some time been little direct philosophical discussion of the question whether affluent individuals have nonderivative moral responsibilities toward the starving, despite the depressing fact that the misery which prompted Singer to write is no less prevalent today.
