This paper present a parallel active filter which employed a three phase voltage source inverter with six controllable switches, one capacitor in the dc side and three line indunctances in the ac side. The representative non-liner load is a diode bridge rectifier to generate load current harmonics. Parallel active filter used to compensate current harmonics. Control strategy of active filter based on instantaneous power theory is introduced and theoretically analyzed. From result of simulation show that by using active filter the THD of supply current decrease 17,2 % from 26,9% to 9,7 % and PF increase 0,03 from to 0,99 , respectively.
