Concurrent programming is absolutely needed by modern operating system design and applications. It is the activity of constructing a program containing multiple processes which are executed in parallel. There is no rate-of-processes assumption and all the processes will be executed from the begining until the end. This paper is focused on the three mechanisms that are commonly used in concurrent programming. and how to use them on a certain case. They are known as low level mechanisms.
