This paper propose an algorithm to determine storage condition/waiting time constraint (finite wait/F W or zero waii/Z W) for each intermediate product which recommended using FW condition in scheduling problem of batch chemical process industry. As reference, a model that accommodates all of storage condition (Zw, FW and unlimited wait/UW) is being used model for scheduling model (Ai and Suryadi, 2003). The principle of this algorithm is evaluating the effect of storage condition transformation from FW to ZW for each intermediate product that recommended using FW condition. From practical point of view, this transformation could reduce operational cost. The purpose of evaluation is avoiding an extension on makespan schedule due to storage condition transformation.
