This article discusses the significance of micro finance in small and micro enterprises (SME) in the perpective of poverty reduction. This issue is whether there is an correlation between micro finance services and SME with local welfare improvement. The assumption is yeas, however, SME and welfare improvement cannot exist on credit alone. Beside credit, there are man internal and external conditions influencing SME and welfare improvement.
