Aluminium is a non-ferrous metal. Pure aluminium is soft and not appropnate for industry. A mixture such as aluminium alloy has strength properties Itis required for main industry such as transportation, electrical construction, container, wrapping, home wphances and other appliances. Aluminium foil is used to seal cans, its elements are Al (98.1%), Mn (1.2%), Cu (05%), Fe (max. 0.7%), and Si (max. 0.6%). Its physical properties are specific gravity (2.70 g/cm3 at 20°C), melting point (6UO%) and specific heat (0.224 1 Cal/g 1OO°C). The process of manufacturing aluminium foil to seal cans are forming cup redrawing and ironing, trimming, cleaning, printing and varnishing, bottom varnishing, baking, inside spraying, Daking, necking and flanging, light testing and finally palletizing.
