The urban city, melting pot of ethnicities and culture, may cause excessive competiton, leading to ndividualistic ethnic egoism and specific defense mechanisms of outsiders and indigenous people. The marco system of Unity in Diversity previousIy stressed on more the unity t rather than diversity, so that these differences were concealed. These stessors increased were faced by unperedness causing pseudo peace and togetherness. When economic hardships prevailed and reformation in 1998, ethnic conflict burst out. Thus, an educational concept of peace with and environmental psychological perspective is offered, The old paradigm of acknowledgement of differences must be developed toward respecting differences.
