Isi artikelExperiment to make particle board from sengon wood (paraserianthes falcataria (L) Nielsen) with glue of urea formaldehide has been done. The comparation of raw material are wood particle 1000 grams, glue 200 grams, parafine 10 grams, hardener 2 grams. The glue is added by preservative material (Basileum Sl-84) as much as 0,0%, 0,5%, 1,0%, 1,5% and 2,0%. Between of both physically and mechanically of tested particle board is development of thickness after being soaked for 2 hours and 24 hours. The used experiment design is a completely randomized design with five treatments and five replications. From the result of experiment has found that the glue material can be added with preservative material up to 2%, where as the equaly of interaction between thickness development and consentration of preservetive is linear regression.
