The Internet has transformed the way products are produced, marketed, shipped, and sold. As a consequence, a new marketing paradigm is needed. The new paradigm, digital marketing, has shifted the traditional marketplace focus to the new virtual marketspace one. The characteristics of digital marketing is identified and discussed in detail in this paper.
