This article employs cluster analysis to classify stocks of manufacturing firms listed in BE.J, based on their profitability ratio during crisis period. Both non-hierarchical and hirarchical two cluster solution are applied here. The result shows that pluster analysis is able to classify stocks of the manufacturing firms and it is sign ificant statistically, conseptually, and practically. The results also shows that the proportion of high profitable firms and low ones is close to equal, during the crisis.
