There has been studied about insidence HIV/AIDS patient into cured at infections disease centre of Prof. Dr. Sulianti Saroso Hospital (RSPISS) Jakarta during last five years (1998-2003). This study used cross sectional method to analyze characteristic of HIV/AIDS patient epidimiology description. Source of data from medical record resulted from diagnosa and therapy of patient at RSIPSS, and interview of patient with collaboration of Working Group of cure HIV/AIDS of RSPISS. Result of this study showed that last five year from 1998-2003, HIV AIDS patient's who cured to RSPISS were 173 patients from other hospitals in Jakarta, average of patient visit per year was 38 patients. There has been tendency increased between 1998-2003. Description epidemiology of this study that majority of patient have age between 15-25 years old, Senior High School level of education background, male, unmarried, unemployment, and location of resident was North Jakarta. Risk factor that caused spread of virus was using syringe to above narcotics.
