The issuance of the new RI regulation on broadcasting and publication system has been posponed and presently the 1999 version is in effect. The delay is due to broadcasting & publication specialist disagreement among each other. The new regulation contains several controversial clauses, which place TV stations in difficulty to expand their business, only smaller television station such as Bali, or other local stations support this new regulation. The new regulation should have a positive benefit to the national needs in terms of national ideology as well as business and entertainment.
