The hijrah of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be bestowed upon him, from Makkah to Madinah, constitued the starting point of Islamic history. One of the main purpose of the Hijrah is to obey Allah's demand to migrate from Makkah to Madinah. The leadership of the Prophet Muhammad was transportmed from merely a religious leader to become both religious and political (state) leader. To build his leadership, he compiled written contitution a well known as the "Madinah Constitution." By this Constitution, he was able to bring together the Anshor and Muhajirin into one community. In his efforts to introduce Islamic teachings, the Prophet Muhammad and his companions, used various methods from very moderate to radical such as war, which he practiced until he passed away. The Islamic teaching has now been spread throughout the World.
