What genre do the communication researchers use in their researches today in Indonesia? This is a hard question to answer. The lack of publication is one of its causes. And another cause that becomes the researcher's attention is that many communication researches which have been carried out do not enrich the Study of Communication. This discussion is to remind us on the communication research alternatives to solve the problem in starting of finding topics or researches. The field is still very rich of research objects, perspectives and or points of view in the social science. Therefore, when a researcher has problems in finding research topics of focus, it is necessary to pay attention on the reasons why it happens.
