Today, whether we like it or not we are entering and facing information and knowledge worker age that emphasizes on human potential, the only thing that enables company to compete, sustain and win in this turbulence world. People need role model who has found its own vision, discipline, passion and conscience to encourage, empower, release and lead them to find their own purpose in life that full of strength, excitement and meaning. Leader must have personal greatness and leadership greatness to inspire its staffs to be the future leaders that will inspire the others continually, by applying four roles of leadership that consist of modeling (appreciates inputs, opinions and suggestions), pathfinding (creates shared vision, values, strategic plan), aligning (executes system, structure that reinforce the core values and strategic priorities) and empowering (makes its staff free to choose their own way that satisfy their and organizatio n’s needs). By translating and executing leadership greatness against the specific objectives in an organization, it will develop organization greatness and if there is a great organization that perform consistently it will result a winning company that can deliver consistent result year after year. Research method that is used in this thesis is qualitative study with combination of data collection methods which consist of structured interviews with HRD manager and its staffs and literature study. The result of this research is HRD in HSO is creating leadership greatness in its daily activities to release its staffs’ potential for achieving superior organization performance at HRD in PT.
