Abstract This paper discusses various methods of teaching quantum mechanics. It starts with the discussion of the history of hydrogen atom. The method of wave mechanics is then complemented with a sketch of matrix mechanics. More recent pedagogical efforts towards a theoretical description of Nature starting from the probability concept are also described The last item discussed is the method of path integrals, which has been applied not only to quantum mechanics but also to elementary particle phenomena.
