The traffic jam in Jakarta has becoming worse from day to day. Many factors have caused traffic jam in Jakarta and some policy has been issued in order to solve the problems but the problems are still there. As a country with supremacy of law, legal instrument could give significant contribution to the solutions of Jakarta’s traffic jam. Legal instrument through supports from others diciplines will secure the traffic manajement policy. Moreover, legal instrument can be used as a tool for social change in the community that will support efective management of transportation in Jakarta.
