Most city buses as a public transportation are designed using chassis and body bus separately. However, airport buses or shuttle buses are designed specifically with low floor, wide door opening, certain body length and width among specific requirements. Sometimes, it is not easy to meet the requirements for chassis bus design. The existing chassis configuration is an integrated body and in this situation it will give freedom to design and choose the configuration. The chassis component from a single source is minimized. Instead, the body designer may use a component that is produced by various vendors. Fortunately, from the engineering point of view, the technology for making the integrated body is to almost similar is to that of a non integrated body. Some bus industries produced integrated body bus by license and developed their own design.
