Imflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has many extraintestinal manifestations, and skin lesions are one of the most frequently described extraintestinal findings. Reports indecate an incidence of cutaneous manifestations ranging from 2 to 34%, Custaneuos manifestations are usually related to the activity of the bowel disease but may have an independent course. In this review we aim to address the various cutaneous manifestations associated with IBD, their impact on the disease course, and the treatment options available.
