Investment is indeed one of important factors in the economy of a country. When we want to increase the economic growth we have to promote the investment although there are various constraints in each implementation. This study shows that for the last five years interest rate and inflation have had significant impact toward the investment inflow in Indonesia. Compared to the inflation, interest rate has greater impacts on the investment applied, and these two variables have contradictive impact. It means that if the goverment expects a high investment inflow, it is therefore mandatory to control the interest rate and inflation relatively low and stable.
