The study of the effect of austemper on the mechanical properties of FCD-70 has been investigated. The study are done on 250 º C and 350 º C austemper temperature. The chemical composition of FCD-70 material are 3.36% C, 2.36% Si, 0.63% Mn and 1.03% Cu, which the number of graphite > 125 nodul/mm 2 . Initial tensile strength of the material is + 88 kg/mm 2 , hardness is 306 BHN, and elongation 4%. The result of the study shows that the optimum time of austemper is approximated 1.5-2 hours at the 350ºC, while on the 250ºC the optimum time of austemper is approximated 2-3 hours.
