Survey preparation is an ongoing process to maintain the health care organization in compliance with the standards of its chosen accreditation organization. The accreditation body revises standards to maintain currency and relevance with the industry. As new standards are placed in accreditation manuals, it is important for the health care provider organization to review the standards and interpret the application of the new standards to its organizational structure and operations.
