Isi artikel
When Medicare Fraud and Abuse or the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) visits an organization to conduct an operations audit, there is an extended list of other governmental agencies that might become involved based on the findings of this initial team. One of the best ways to stay current with the operations of the government agencies is to access their Web site home page and recent postings. It is important to take a proactive approach to knowing what the government’s focus might be and how the upcoming regulations are being interpreted relative to the community/home health practice setting. This column is intended to provide a sampling of Web sites that can assist the organization in its continual compliance readiness plan.
