Fuzzy logic can be used as an alternative in order to design a traffic light controller at the intersection of two street. In this paper, fuzzy controller for traffic light has two input. First input is the number of cars behind green light. Second input is the number of cars behind red light. The output of fuzzy controller is the changes of cycle time depending upon the two input. The purpose of choosing fuzzy control is that it achieves better performances than coventional traffic controller.
