The role of the senior manager is an everchanging role that demands the ability to shift direction numerous times throughout the day. The manager can become overwhelmed with balancing the multitude of responsibilities necessary for the forward movement of their organization. The pace of the organization as well as the motivation of the team players is contingent on the leadership that they see in the senior manager. It is crucial to have a strong, well-organized team to help support the role of the senior manager in the advancement of the goals and objectives. The various deterrents to the forward movement of the team can present a challenge to even the strongest of leaders. There are many proven techniques to aid managers in the quest to find the balance between their responsibilities and maintaining energy and a positive outlook.
