Most employers fear the day that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspector walks into their workplace. To some extent, this is with good reason. Because the OSHA regulations are so complex and comprehensive, it is unlikely that an inspection would result in no violations being found. However, by understanding the inspection process and settlement possibilities, employers can be better prepared for the inspection and minimize violations and penalties.
