The mere mention of bioterrorism preparedness often brings sighs of “what next” from health care workers overburdened with regulatory compliance. Unfortunately, bioterrorism is a serious threat to our national security, and as a part of the public health continuum, home care organizations have a responsibility to understand, prepare, and mobilize should that threat become reality.
