astract: Lacfateis anon toxfc mtermedzate metabolic agent wntch coula tJe proaucea tJy all cells. 1 he amounts of lactates are found variously in all tissues or organs and depend on human hemodynamic and metabolic condition. The increase of lactate concentration in human blood is always correlated to aerob metabolism disturbances due to hypoxia or ischemia. In septic condition, the lactates production and clearance imbalance are play roles and these should be impressed as the increase of lactate due to hypoperfusion and important organs disturbance. This review article discusses biochemical pathways complex and many factors cause high lactate concentration and also their correlation in emergency septic patient.
