Inventory control is an important part in productive activity (i.e. production and trading) in relation with activity efficiency and capital effectiveness. Although the basic theories of inventory control system have been available in many textbooks, they need modifiying to be applicable. Different cases need different approaches and modifications. This paper will try to combine and modify several basic models of detenninistic inventory control to design a model of detemiinistic multi-item inventory case with quantity discount and fixed joint order cost. Order frequency and order quantity determination algoiithm will be presented through a simple case.
