Metal casting technology is one of metal processing without scraps. In their study, sometimes students need any media to recognize and understand well the basic theory by practicing it in a laboratory class. To provide this need, it is considerable to design aluminum casting furnace, which can be used for any casting products with maximum 5 kg in capacities. Aluminum is considered in this design, because of its widely use and it does not require high temperature for its melting. The optimal dimension for the furnace, material used, and specification table is found by using rasional methods and anthropometric data in designing the furnace.
