Isi artikelThis article explores the employee attitude toward women as manager. It is hypothezed thet gender, cultural, and organization background significantly differentiatie the attitude toward women as manager. Using data collected from Bandung (Sundanese culture) and Solo/ Jogja (Javanese culture), the results show that in overall the attitude toward the ability of women as manager relatively low; while their attitude toward the acceptance of women as manager is relatively higher. Furthermore, the hypotheses testing shows that gender and cultural background significantly differentiatie the attitude toward women ability but not toward acceptance of women as manager. While organizational background does significantly differentiatie on both the ability as well as acceptance toward women as manager.
