Since three decades ago, scientists, laypeople, and politicians have become increasingly aware of the importance of ethics in scientific research. It suggests that ethics should have answers to questions regarding the personal, or even the collective, conduct of life. That hope, however, implies a pessimistic mood. ,Science has developed fasther than ethics. It seems to be true that ethics will become a melancholic science in front of science. In this pessimistic sound, this article tries to find out the new function of ethics. In the front of scientific investigation, ethics should play its role as a defender of human subject. In this new task, the article suggests that we have to develop the ethical reasoning in answering the problems of instrumentalization of human beings in scientific researches.
