Copyright has its related right which granted specifically and exclusively to Performing Artist and Producers of Phonograms. In responding the development of digital technology especially the Internet, both provisions of WIPO Copyright Treaty (WCT) and World Intelectual Properly Organization Performances and Phonograms Treaty 1996 (WPPT) has been adjusted. Those provisions in WCTand WPPT are deal with: (1) the application of the reproduction right on works stored in digital systems, (2) the restrictions and exceptions applicable to the digital, (3) technological measures ofprotection and (4) management information rights. This Article also attempt to examine the implementation of WPPT in Indonesian copyright law. Hopefully, the ratification of WPPT will make the State Party to harmonize their national law. Therefore, creators will be protected and any problems raised due to the development of information technology with regard to copy right will be overcome.
