The sale of the bankruptcy assets shall be made through public action in accordance with the Article 185 of Law No. 37 Year 2004 on Bankruptcy and Suspension of Obligation for Payments of Debts. The method of public auction is aimed to achieve transparency, efficiency, and effective principles. Therefore a comprehensive understanding about the legal basis, definition, procedure and the officer ofpublic auction is needed. For bankruptcy auction, it is important to give attention about (i) the completeness of the auction documents required, (ii) the condition of the auction’s object, (iii) the publication of auction and (iv) the auction’s price limit.
