The research entitle "Feasibility Study of Using Electric Pump for the Rice Fields Dependent on Rain in Tana Toraja" was made in order to know the effectiveness of electric pump as irrigation instrument for the rice fields dependent on rain which lies along the river. Its aims at knowing whether the use of electrical pump is effective in raising the rice field productivity by maintaning the frequency of planting rice twice a year. It also wants to know how wide is the rice field that can be irrigated by one electric pump, taking into consideration the climate and the kind of agricultural land in Tana Toraja.
