R is an open source environment for statistical computing and visualisation.It is based on S language developed at Bell laboratories, and is the product of an active movement among statisticians for a powerful, programmable, portable ang open computing environment, applicable to the most complex sophisticated problems, as well as "routine" analysis, without any restriction on access or use. the aims of this paper is to illustrate the capability of the R language.
