Dermatoglypic is sucker epidermal picture found at fingertip, palm, toe, and sole at primata and some other mammal.Sucker epidermal representa picture tipically to every individual. At human being, sucker epidermal forming started at week to 8 and finish completely at week to 16 after fertilization.Pattern type difference and sum up sucker influenced by some factor among other things the hormone, gender, emvironmental factor and the chromosome.This research target is to test pettern dermatoglypic difference among woman and man in Faculty of Medicine of University YARSI JAkarta.tow group sample consisted of 106 men and 202 woman.Sample obtained from student of Faculty of Medicine of University YARSI Jakarta.Data colected cover pattern type and sum up sucker from 10 fingertip, calculated by Dankmeijer Index (ID) and Furuhata Index (IF).Data amalyze statiscally is descriptive analyze. Result of analysis indicate that pattern intensity index and total sum up sucker do not show difference have a meaning of (p>0,05).Mean sum up sucker at the end of finger in general do not have a meaning a meaning of. Difference have a meaning of p<0,05, is only seen at mean sum up right thumb fingertip sucker.From this research data is inferential tahat pattern type and sum up sucker at 10 hand fingertip among women and man group deputized and by student of Faculty of Medicine of YARSI show there no difference having a meaning.
