Isi artikelTechniques based on thresholding of wavelet coefficient are gaining popularity as approaches to denoising data.The main idea is transform the data into a diffrent basis, the wavelet basis , where the large coefficients in the new basis, the noise can be removed from the data.Denoising using wavelet includes three steps: Transform data into wavelet domain , shrink the empirical wavelet coefficient toward zero, and transform the shrunk coefficient back to the data domain.This paper using the hard, soft and Garrote shrinkage.
