Isi artikelControl rod calibration is perfomed to measure reactivity value of every control rod, that used as a principle of reactor power controlling. Control rod calibrator consist of reactivity metre and control rod position metre, that both of them are operated at the same time to measure the reactivity value of every control rod position. The object of this experiment is to make out reactivity metre software base on Digital Signal Processor DSP 56001 Motorola for control rod calibration process on Kartini Nuclear Reseach Reactor. This reactivity metre software measure the control rod reactivity base on inverse problem of point reactor kinetic equation, where reactivity function (t) is calculated from neutron density function n(t), that on this experiment expressed by reactor power function P(t).Difference equation from point rector kinetic equation is modified into difference equation as a differentiation operation that expressed on Digital Signal Processor with the help of shifting operation.
