This paper will discuss about an academic information system at Informatics Engineering-University of Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (TF-UAJY). The system use WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) technology, which means that the technology can be accessed through the mobile phone. System can show the university-level instructor schedule and the laboratory schedule. And too improve the system performance, it provide polling facility. With this facility, user can give input to the system, and the user also can get the output from the system, so the system can be a smart information system. In addition, the system offers a lot of functions such as it enable to edit, add, and delete any lab data with an admin menu. To enter the menu, admin must input login name and password. The system supported by Wireless Markup Language (WML) on the server side, Hypertext Prerpocessor (PHP) in the client side and MySQL as the database. The system is tested using Nokia 6210 emulator.
