In this paper we describe an application of design (111(1 unpleinentaiion of (;eographicol information System. This system use thematic maps analysis with overlay method. that applying computer technology to present earth sight information. The input thematic maps are degree of slope. sensibility of soil erosion and daily rates rainfall intencitv; that contains geographical data as spatial data. This data presented in grids as pixel that forum the map image at the matrix area. This system able to handle database amid appear its in a graphic. so that can present worth information from programmed analysis result. This system had been tested used thematic maps data of Kabupaten Kulonprogo Raglan utara, D. 1. Yogyakarta. The result are three area general example of land functions, that is: area A with area width 56.250.000 square-metres, area B width area width 112.640.625 square -metres, and area C %titli area width 27.562.500 square-metres. The system implemented by Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Access 2000
