Isi artikelByasse focuses on religious journalism, which he describes as a boring profession, and cites excerpts of some journalistic works that exhibit boredom. However, instead of emphasizing explicit ideological claims, intellectual refinement must focus on bringing out the nuances and ambition of a debate, debunking established interpretations, and dissecting the logic arguments to make religious writing interesting. Learning to see and paying attention to the workings of human desire, especially at the most twisted are what Christians have to do. In the extra burden that is placed on a specifically Christian vision of journalism, journalists just cannot only offer intellectual refinement, but they also have to speak from and to the church.
