Isi artikel
Not thinking about a budget as you design, plan for, implement, and monitor a health education program is like skydiving without packing or using a parachute. Although the dictionary defines a “fussbudget” as someone who fusses over trifles, the truth is, you are way ahead of the program planning and evaluation “game” if you are smart enough to “fuss” over your program budget from start to finish. Every program planner worth his or her salt is always preparing or revising a budget. You may not be responsible for doing it yourself— your organization may make use of board members, other staff members, or consultants familiar with budgeting or fiscal planning—but you need to know what to look for and make sure all your bases are covered.
