Isi artikel
This article will look at feminist reconceptualizations of the concept of ‘nature’ within the ‘cyborg’ discourses of the past 15 years. These, I will argue, have opened up a discursive space in the borderlands (Anzaldúa, 1987) between the human and non-human. Longstanding and seemingly transparent divisions– structure and agency, sex and gender, the manufactured and the wild, the material and the symbolic, subject and object, culture and the body – have been undermined. Feminist work on ‘nature’ has thus provided a home for debates address`ing the future of modernity itself.
