Isi artikel
Is state intervention, that is legislative measures, the way in which to bring about changes in the gender composition of the workforce? What experiences do newer and older companies have with anti-discrimination policies? In this article older state-controlled and younger independent/commercial companies in Great Britain and Denmark are studied and compared. In the early 1990s, the approaches in the two older companies, BBC and Radio Denmark, were diametrically opposite. In the independent/commercial companies, the approaches vary across the continuum between the two poles characterizing Radio Denmark and the BBC.
