Questions has been raised during the experience of destructive flood in Jakarta recently. Among the questions of solving the flood problem is the construction of injection wells nearby the flooded area by injected flood water into aquifer system underneath. This scheme has been succesfully implemented at Kuta, Bali, by constructing two injection wells using inundated water during stroms and flood. This paper will the possible application of scheme in Jakarta area and elsewhere in Indonesia, however, any party concerned could contribute and join this dicussed for a broader view regarding this matter, especially for disposing excessive runoff on one hand augmenting groundwater storage for water supply or other necessities on the other hand.
