Isi artikelThis paper will discuss the urgency of aerodynamic wind tunnel to simulate and investigate the air-pollution concentrations, flow and dispersion characteristics, and to predict the wind forces on structures in Indonesia. Because, in Indonesia there are several wind tunnels, but not used for the measurement and modeling in environmental aerodynamics. For flow visualization (qualitative result) on the wind tunnel testing is used during the time common to the system consisting of Laser Light Sheet, Hi-Res B/W CCD Camera, and Suitable Focusing System. Quantitative analysis can be taken into account in utilization of LDA (Laser Doppler probe) system for measurement in environmental wind tunnel. The quantitative assessment of the pollutant concentrations around a point source can use the infrared spectroscopic analyzer system.
